Men's Ministry "Brootherhood"

The Men’s Ministry of One Rugged Cross has a purpose: to challenge men to walk out their destiny, and to fulfill the purpose that God has for them. Our mission is to focus on Jesus Christ and to be transformed into His likeness.

Men are encouraged to take their role as the spiritual leader and say…”as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15

We support, train, encourage and motivate men to impact their families, friends, and communities for the cause of Christ.  We ask men to Make a Difference!

Mission Statement:
We provide opportunities for men to grow and serve together; and we have an atmosphere that encourages commitment and involvement. We bring men together to discuss issues and challenges that they face today and point them in a direction to find spiritual solutions to overcome them. We believe God wants every man to contribute in this process of becoming a man of God – a man that possesses character and integrity.

Our vision is to reach others with the message of Jesus Christ, and to see souls saved through:

We are a band of Christ-seeking brothers striving to build up, encourage, and sharpen our men.  “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” - Proverbs 27:17

"If my people (our family) will humbly pray (rely on God) and seek my face (become seekers) and turn from their wicked ways (repent), then will I hear and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." -  2 Chronicles 7:14

God seeks seekers; we want men to desire to be seekers. And we want all men to live out the Lord's mission:  "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself." - Matthew 22:37

In Deuteronomy Moses asks the Israelites to impress God’s Words on their hearts and the hearts of their children.   That is what we desire for the men at One Rugged Cross.

The Home - The home is the main venue for men
to put the Gospel into practice.  Each man is called to be the spiritual
leader of his home and shepherd his wife and children in a way that reflects
Christ daily.

The Church - The church depends on faithful men who will lead and serve
the body of Christ.  Each man is called to be a servant leader in the
church and use the gifts God has given him to build up the body and do the work
of the ministry. 

The World - The world needs a picture of what a godly man looks
like.  Each man is called to be a testimony of Jesus Christ and proclaim
the power of the Gospel in both word and deed to the world.
Our meetings are informal and relaxed, helping you build strong and lasting friendships with Christian men. We offer a variety of ways and opportunities to use your God-given gifts by ministering to the church and the community.

Membership:All men 18 years of age and older, that are members of  One Rugged Cross Church.
Meetings: First Sunday of each month at 9:00 a.m.
